Stephanie Mills set up Urban Arts Limited, London UK with Peter Cuming. Their projects included:

•  A Framework Plan for the Royal London Hospital

•  Industrial Regeneration Plan, Park Royal, London

•  A Satellite for Gatwick Airport at Redhill

•  Rail-Air Interchange Feasibility for Luton Airport.

1988-91

As an employee of Arup Urban Design, London UK, Mills worked on:

•  A new Settlement in Cambridgeshire

•  A new Cultural and Media Complex, Budapest

•  Channel Tunnel Rail Freight Terminal, Wakefield

•  Business Park studies in Paris, Munich and UK.

1984-86

Mills was Acting Head of the Master of Environmental Planning Degree, University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.

1980-2

Recipient of a Fellowship from the American Association of University Women, Mills obtained a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University's Graduate School of Design.

1979-80

Mills worked on city centre regeneration projects as an architect with the Cape Town City Council.
